For people who live alone, and the people who care about them

If a day goes by in silence, someone will know.

Stillwell quietly notices the everyday signs that you're up and about: picking up your phone, a few steps around the house, plugging in the charger. You don't have to remember to tap anything. If those signs stop for longer than usual, Stillwell checks on you first, and only then lets the people you chose know.

Coming soon to the App Store and Google Play

How it works

  1. Install it on your phone. No sign-up form. Choose a name and the hours you're usually awake.
  2. Add your people. Invite family or friends with a code, or add them by phone number. Anyone in your circle can also get alerts on WhatsApp.
  3. Get on with your day. Stillwell works in the background. It doesn't track your location, read your messages or listen to anything.
  4. If things go quiet, it first wakes your phone, then asks you "Are you okay?". Only if you don't answer does it alert your people, one by one: by notification in the app, by WhatsApp message if they connected WhatsApp, and on the paid plan by text message and automated phone call.

Stillwell is not an emergency service or a medical device. It does not call 112, 911 or any other emergency number, and alerts can be delayed or fail (for example if a phone is switched off or has no signal). In an emergency, call your local emergency number.

Private by design

Only "when", never "what"

We store the time of a sign of life, not what you did. No step counts, no app names, no messages, no location.

Short memory

Raw signals are deleted after 30 days. Message delivery records after 90 days.

No ads, no tracking

No advertising, no analytics SDKs, and we never sell your data.
